7 Ways To Grow Your Youtube Channel Fast And Get More Subscribers

The best thing about YouTube is that there’s no limit to how big your channel can grow! It’s really up to you how far you want to take it, and there are plenty of ways you can go about it, but here are 7 of the most effective ways I’ve found to grow your YouTube channel fast and get more subscribers in the process.

1) Create videos you are passionate about

There’s no doubt that in order to be successful on YouTube, you have to find something you are passionate about and want to share with others. If you don’t care about what you are creating and uploading, there is a good chance that your audience won’t either. Spend some time brainstorming and think about why it would make sense for others to subscribe. Are there other similar channels out there? What makes yours unique? What information or stories will your channel offer that other people can’t find elsewhere? How often do you plan on posting videos? How much time will they take up each week?

2) Keep your content consistent

Consistency is key. It may take time to get your channel off of the ground, but once you have a few videos and some regular subscribers, you’ll start to see your views grow. If you find that one of your videos isn’t performing as well as others (i.e., gaining new subscribers), think about why that may be and try to figure out what can be done differently for next time. Most YouTube channels are on a six-month rotation schedule, meaning if one of your videos didn’t perform as well last month it should return to normal once it cycles through again in February or March.

3) Stay active on social media

One of your jobs as a new YouTuber is to let people know you exist. Use Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Pinterest to connect with other creators and grow your audience one social media connection at a time. When they subscribe to your channel they’ll see new videos when you post them. In order to get 1000 subscribers on YouTube fast, you need lots of views early on so that Google will start sending traffic your way! This can be achieved through sharing posts with large groups that are related to your niche. Promote yourself everywhere!

4) Engage with your audience through live chats

The key to growing your channel is engaging with your audience as much as possible, and one of the best ways to do that is by doing live chats. Though doing a Q&A session can be intimidating if you’re new to it, there are tons of resources online (and our very own YouTube channel!) that can help you get comfortable with how these kinds of sessions work. Not only does answering questions from your subscribers make them feel heard and appreciated, but it also encourages them to keep tuning in for future videos. In fact, a survey conducted by Animoto found that 91% of respondents said they are more likely to subscribe to a YouTube channel after participating in an online Q&A session.

5) Collaborate with other popular YouTube channels

Collaborating with other YouTube channels is a great way to grow your channel quickly. If you’re an established YouTuber, finding new ways to collaborate will only benefit your channel. Look for other channels that are similar to yours and see if they’d be interested in working together on a video or two. If so, offer them up some exposure by including their logo in your video, mentioning them by name and linking their channel in your description. This can help get them more views as well! If you’re just starting out on YouTube, let it be known that collaborating with popular YouTubers is a great way to gain exposure yourself.

6) Add annotations to your videos

Overlaying your own branding and contact information on your videos is a great way to build visibility and connect with viewers. That said, it can be tricky to get started. There are two main ways to add annotations to your videos: through YouTube itself or through 3rd party software. One of our favorite free options for adding annotations is an application called SohowDoAnnotations—it’s compatible with both Mac and PC and allows you to easily overlay text or links into existing video content (including videos embedded from other sites, such as YouTube). Follow along with these instructions for adding annotations using SohowDoAnnotations . Also check out howto1000subs for more instruction on getting 1000 subscribers on youtube fast.

7) Leverage YouTube search engine optimization best practices

Search engine optimization, or SEO, is a technique used to optimize your videos for YouTube’s search results. (In other words, it helps YouTube rank your video in its search results.) The good news is that there are several ways you can use SEO tactics to get more views on your videos. You may not think of a video as having keywords, but they do; you just need to figure out what they are and how best to utilize them. There are certain things you can do throughout your videos—throughout each section of a long video or within each scene of a short one—that will help boost its search ranking on YouTube when people look for specific keywords related to your video’s content.
